Summer Holiday Time Activities

Watch out for our timetable of summer holiday time activities, coming soon.

Holiday Sessions

Just a reminder to all those coming into sessions over Holidays. It is always best to book onto sessions in advance, as numbers can be high and we have had to turn people away when sessions have become full. Jan always keeps a booking sheet on reception, why not book onto a session as you're leaving the building. Dont' miss out - book on!

Trips!

We know how much everyone enjoyed recent trips to Stanwick Lakes, and we keep hearing requests to organise more outings. We will publicise details in the Centre and on this site when we have them. There will be a very reasonable charge for everyone using a coach seat, just so that we can cover the cost of hiring the coach. If anyone has any ideas for trips destinations please do let us know!

News - April 2009

Local parents and carers recently joined us for a "Food and Conversation Day" where we spent time reviewing and evaluating our services (as well as eating lots of good food!) The result of these conversations is that we have completely re-vamped our timetable (see our Weekly Activities). If you are interested in joining us for some food and fun on our next Food and Conversation Day, it is on Friday 26 June 2009 from 10:00-14:00. There is a creche available, and places will need to be booked in advance on a first come, first served basis. Just see Jan on Reception when you want to book on.

Back to Normal - February 2009

We're pleased to announce that everything is back to normal. The heating is fixed; the centre is warm; we are in work this week; which means the Centre is open again!

Welcome Jan! - January 2009

A warm welcome to Jan, who starts as our new Receptionist this week.
We're excited to have her on the team and are looking forward to working with her.

The Parent Action Group

The Parent Action Group is met for the first time on January 26 2009. The group is currently working with Queen’s Park Lower School on a Family Learning Bid to get funds to equip families with computers, internet access and fun opportunities to learn together, so that parents/carers are able to better support their children’s education. Contact Jo on 01234 276633 if you are interested and want to find out more.

Wriggles & Jiggles

Come and join music fun for all the family in our new Wriggles & Jiggles session from 10:00 – 10:45 every Friday.
